Meeting your industry needs
Many businesses have regulatory requirements, whether from a purchaser or governing body, that establish standards in the employment and management of staff. Our consultants have worked proactively with businesses to help them meet these requirements and have sector specific experience.
With increasing media coverage and publicity about the working conditions of workers throughout the farm/food chain we work closely with some of the major purchasing business in food and agriculture who have established standards governing employers’ behaviours. We have audited, supported and advised growers to meet the requirements of the Ethical Growers workbook. We have trained management to meet the International Labour Organisation standards, and advised on the requirements of the Gang Masters Licensing Authority and the Agency Worker Regulations.
We work widely across education providers. Our experience has ranged from helping providers prepare for Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills inspections, to dismissing teachers for breaches of the General Teaching Council’s Code of Conduct and Practice for Registered Teachers.
If you are a care home or provide social care for adults we have extensive experience in meeting the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act, and can help you ensure that you are meeting the standards required by the Care Quality Commission.
More broadly if you are tendering for a public authority contract or have contractual specifications you are required to meet then we can assist you in meeting the employment and human resource aspects of these. For further information contact us now.
