Sara has a Mechanical Engineering Degree with Honours which included projects such as energy recoverable from domestic waste, project management, financial management, automotive engines & transmissions, fluid mechanics, stress analysis and design. She is currently studying for her MSc in Occupational Health and Safety. Prior to joining Lloyds she was employed as Project/Safety Manager for one of Europe’s leading crane manufacturers.

Peter has considerable experience in the chemical industry and been involved in undertaking COSHH assessments, workplace and environmental monitoring programmes, identifying health surveillance requirements, etc. He has designed and delivered bespoke training courses for trainees, engineers, chemical operators and managers covering all aspects of safety during chemical manufacture.

As a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) he has advised logistics companies on the transport of dangerous goods including driver training, placards, documentation and emergency requirements.

Before joining Lloyds Steven was employed as Risk Management Officer for Holland & Barrett with responsibility for their 200,000 sqft national distribution centre, three office/call-centre sites and some 500 retail outlets nationwide. He has, therefore, particular experience of health and safety issues affecting all aspects of multi-site retailing, distribution and warehousing, including chilled and frozen storage, and supporting office and call-centre operations. Steven also has considerable practical experience of advising on the implications of the Disability Discrimination Act.
